The moderate winds of St. Barth’s allow both amateurs and experts to enjoy the foaming waves of the water. Shops rent out the appropriate equipment, and are very willing to assist beginners in trying out this popular water sport! The north shore is a popular place for windsurfers, and the lagoon at Grand Cul de Sac is shallow enough for children and beginners to test the waters.
